In May 2025, a Beijing municipal delegation led by Yin Yong visited Finland. Our firm, together with local experts in urban planning, architectural design, and construction, supported professional coordination and on-site presentations for urban development study visits in Helsinki and Espoo, focusing on public space, mixed-use development, and innovation districts.

In Helsinki, the delegation visited major public and cultural landmarks, including Oodi Library, Amos Rex, and Kiasma, as well as key urban infrastructure and mixed-use developments such as Helsinki Central Railway Station and Kamppi Center. The program offered insights into Helsinki’s approach to public space activation, cultural facility development, and integrated transport-oriented urban systems.

In Espoo, the delegation explored the Otaniemi innovation district anchored by Aalto University, along with representative projects such as Tapiola Garden City and the Ainoa development. Discussions focused on the integration of education, research and industry, as well as the transformation of garden city concepts into contemporary urban centers.

During the visit, our team contributed professional insights on urban design, functional organization, and spatial quality, drawing on our project experience. The exchanges were well received by the delegation.

Looking ahead, our firm will continue to strengthen international collaboration and draw on Nordic best practices in sustainable development and high-quality urban environments, contributing to the advancement of future urban development.
